Hey everyone, So my furnace started making this high-pitched whine last night. Not super loud, but annoying enough that I kept noticing it, especially with how cold it’s been in Toronto lately. Heat is still working, but the sound definitely isn’t normal. Not trying to wait until it gets colder, so I’m hoping to find a handyman who can check it out and see what’s going on. Could be the blower, could be a belt, no clue. If you know someone solid, please shoot me a message. Thanks a lot.
Hi everyone, My fridge door isn’t sealing right anymore. Not sure if it’s the cold damp weather or the gasket’s worn out, but the door keeps popping open a bit and the inside’s not staying cold. Looking for a handyman who can check the seal and fix/replace it. If you know someone reliable in Toronto, pls DM me. Thanks.
Hey folks, Out of nowhere, one of the floorboards in my living room popped loose today. No idea if it’s the moisture, the cold, or just bad luck, but it’s lifting slightly and makes a weird click every time I step on it. Looking for a handyman who can take a look and fix it before it gets worse. Nothing urgent, just wanna deal with it while the weather’s still manageable. If you know someone good, pls DM. Thanks in advance.
so i grabbed my towel rack in the bathroom this morning and the whole thing just came out of the wall now theres two huge holes in the drywall and the rack is sitting on the counter. guess whoever installed it didn't use the right anchors or something need someone to patch the holes and reinstall it properly this time so it actually stays up pretty straightforward job i think but i don't have the tools or know how to do drywall anyone around who can do this quickly thx
Hey Toronto, My dryer started making this loud rumbling sound tonight. Not sure if it’s the belt, the drum, or just the cold damp weather messing with it, but it’s getting worse every cycle. Looking for a handyman who knows dryers and can drop by sometime this week. Shoot me a msg if you’ve got someone reliable. Thanks.
Hi everyone, Not sure what’s going on, but the basement light has been flickering non-stop since the weather turned cold and damp this week. Thought it was just the bulb, swapped it out, still doing the same thing. Kinda creepy at night ngl. Looking for a handyman who can check the wiring or the fixture. Doesn’t need to be urgent, just wanna get it sorted before winter really settles in. If you’ve got a recommendation, pls DM me. Appreciate it.
my bedroom radiator is stone cold even though the rest of the house is warm feels like theres air trapped in it or maybe the valve is stuck? tried turning the knob but nothing changes. room is freezing at night now and i cant sleep with three blankets on other radiators work fine so its definitely just this one unit need someone who can bleed it or fix whatever's blocking it. should be simple for someone who's done it before any recs? want this sorted asap thanks
Hey all, Anyone know a reliable handyman in Toronto? One of my kitchen cabinets basically gave up on me today. The hinges are loose, the door’s hanging crooked, and with this damp weather it feels like the wood’s swelling and making everything worse. Need someone who can tighten/replace the hinges and check if the frame’s warped. Hoping to fix it before it fully comes off the wall. If you’ve got a rec, pls message me. Thanks.

Hi everyone, Woke up this morning and my shower has no hot water at all. Not great timing with how cold it’s been in Toronto this week. I’m guessing the mixer valve’s stuck or something’s acting up, but I have no idea. Looking for a handyman who can check it today or tomorrow. Pls DM if you know someone who’s good with this kind of issue. Thanks.
Hey Toronto, One of my bedroom closet doors has stopped sliding properly. With all the damp, chilly weather lately, it’s like it’s swollen or the track is messed up. Every time I try to open it, it sticks halfway and I gotta push hard. Looking for a handyman who can swing by, figure out what’s going on, and fix it. Prefer someone local who can come this week. DM me if you know someone reliable. Thanks!
my garage door's stuck halfway and won't go up or down now tried the remote, tried the wall button, nothing. can hear the motor running but the door isn't moving. might be the chain or a sensor issue but i have no idea car's trapped inside which is a problem since i need it for work tomorrow. tried calling a couple places but earliest they can come is next week anyone know a handyman who could swing by today or tonight? willing to pay extra if someone's available on short notice desperate here
